Some girls know exactly what they want their wedding to be like when they are 10 years old. I wasn’t one of those girls. I thought weddings were interesting but not something to spend too much time thinking about. Don’t get me wrong, I liked parties and events as much as the next girl but, weddings were a whole different story.
Then it happened. I got engaged, and the wedding obsession began. It started out with a simple engagement ring. Then the wedding magazines started coming in the mail and I was hooked! I was amazed at all the possibilities and options I had for my wedding. I didn’t know where to begin. My fiancé (now my husband) soon noticed my love of all things wedding and encouraged me to attend classes on wedding planning. I took his advice and absorbed all I could from the classes. After I had attended the classes my friends started asking me to help plan their weddings. I was more than happy to help out. The more weddings I managed, the more I realized I was enjoying every minute of it.
The pleasure I get from choreographing these amazing events is why I created Felicity Events. The enjoyment is also why I named it Felicity Events. The word felicity means - something that creates happiness. That is exactly what I wanted to convey as I help people celebrate great events in their lives.
